CHALK is a training facility for people who are frustrated and tired of what the current fitness industry offers. Chalk is not a commercial gym or fitness center. Group training and boot camps are not for everyone. Why? Because they offer the same general cookie cutter program for everyone. If you cannot do any of the exercises, you will have to find a way to make it easier so you can do it or just skip it all together. No Individuality. The Personal Training industry is a mess too. Yes its individual and one on one but the value of personal training is poor. The industry rates range from $50 to $125 per hour and that can get very expensive. Do the math!  Because there are so many types of people, levels of fitness and individual differences, everyone should have their own program. That program should be unique and different for each person. When that happens you get results. When everyone has their own personal program you don’t fail and quit. When the cost allows you to train year round things start to happen. You’re body starts to change. CHALK is a training facility that combines the membership fee, training/coaching fee and programming/workout routine fee all for one price. The equipment, the facility, the programming and coaching are designed to provide the optimal environment for training. Chalk is open to anyone who has a desire to pursue weight loss, beginning fitness training,post rehabilitation,  competitive lifting or to have the best training experience possible. You will always have a individualized program, you will never have to ask for help and you will never be allowed to fall through the cracks or allowed to fail.

CHALK is open to beginners, athletes, cross fitters, competitive Olympic weight lifters and Powerlifters, or people who need instructional strength and conditioning. CHALKS owner has over 35 years of experience in the strength and conditioning profession. CHALK offers professional programming, one on one education and training, Olympic lifting and powerlifting seminars, and competitive weight lifting training. CHALK programs specialize in addressing the core competencies of athletic development. CHALK gives you the unique opportunity to advance your goals in a professional training center environment.

How it works

You will pick a 2 hour time slot. Your session will be by appointment only. You don’t have to leave because your hour is up. There will be up to 10 lifters per time slot.  All you have to do is show up and put forth the effort.  Every aspect of your training is addressed so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Lifters need proper equipment and coaching, but that’s just a small part of a complex system. More important is the need for developing heart, character, integrity, mental and physical toughness. There must be a competitive atmosphere and a deep desire to improve. These things thrive in a training environment with the right people, with the right mindset.

Chalk is returning to the roots of weight training and focusing on developing the unique qualities of the athlete rather than following blindly the current fads of other fitness facilities and gyms. We want to help preserve what we believe is a special and disappearing mindset and way of life.
